Mobile Boat Repair · Stuart, FL

Mobile Marine Mechanic in Stuart

Offshore rigs, center consoles, cabin boats. We cover both sides of Stuart — the St. Lucie River docks and the Manatee Pocket fleet.

Where we work in Stuart

Stuart splits its boats between the river and the Pocket, and we run both. Sunset Bay and the riverfront docks on one side, Manatee Pocket, Sailfish Marina, and Pirate's Cove on the other — all of it a short drive down US-1 from our base in Port St. Lucie.

Boating in this water

Stuart calls itself the Sailfish Capital of the World, and the boats prove it. Manatee Pocket is packed with serious offshore rigs — twins and triples that run the inlet and put real hours on their motors. Offshore hours in salt are the hardest duty an outboard sees. Hundred-hour services come around fast, cooling systems load up with salt, and a skipped impeller change out here isn't a maintenance miss — it's a tow.

The river side is a different boat and a different problem. Cabin boats and center consoles sitting at Sunset Bay or on private St. Lucie River docks fight brackish water, growth, and time at the slip. Either side, the fix is the same: we come to the boat. No pulling out of a wet slip, no trailer, no waiting on a yard. Slip, dock, or the ramps at Sandsprit, Shepard, and Leighton — we work where the boat sits.

Common questions from Stuart boaters

How long does it take you to get to Stuart?

About 20 to 30 minutes from our base in Port St. Lucie. Manatee Pocket, Sunset Bay, and the river docks are all regular runs for us. Emergencies get same-day or next-day when possible.

Can you work on my boat in its slip at Sunset Bay or in Manatee Pocket?

Yes. Most of our Stuart work is done right in the slip. Check your marina's rules on outside vendors, give us the slip number, and we handle the rest.

I fish offshore out of the St. Lucie Inlet. How often should my motors get serviced?

Go by hours, not months. Offshore boats hit their 100-hour service fast, and salt water doesn't forgive a skipped impeller or cooling flush. If you're running the inlet regularly, plan on service every season at minimum.

My boat lives in salt water year-round. What does that do to my outboard?

Salt builds up in the cooling passages, eats anodes, and corrodes anything unprotected. Wet-slipped boats in Stuart need regular flushes, anode checks, and cooling service more than trailer boats do. That's most of what we treat here.

How much does service cost?

Flat $450 labor per motor. Twin engine $900. Triple $1,350. Parts billed at cost. $250 diagnostic — applied as $95 flat for Care Plan members.
