Where we work in Vero Beach

Vero Beach boating is Indian River Lagoon boating — the municipal marina and mooring field, the yacht club docks, and miles of river running north toward Sebastian Inlet. We cover all of it on regular routes. If your slip or dock isn't listed, chances are we still come to it — just call.

Boating in this water

The lagoon shapes what breaks in Vero. It's shallow, and the sand doesn't forgive — skegs, props, and water pickups take a beating from thin water and shoaling near the spoil islands. Sucking sand through a cooling system chews up impellers faster than clean deep water ever will. If your boat runs the flats or anchors off the islands, your water pump schedule matters more here than almost anywhere else we work.

Vero's fleet is a mix: flats skiffs and bay boats working the lagoon, cruisers and sailboats at the municipal marina and mooring field, and offshore boats that run north to shoot Sebastian Inlet. All of it lives in salt. Trailering to a shop means burning half a day each way; boats in the mooring field can't trailer at all. We service at the slip, the dock, or the ramp at MacWilliam or Riverside Park — the boat stays where it belongs.

Common questions from Vero Beach boaters

How far is Vero Beach for you?

Around 35 to 45 minutes north from Port St. Lucie, straight up US-1 or I-95. Vero is inside our regular coverage area — same scheduling as anywhere else we work.

My boat is at the Vero Beach Municipal Marina. Can you work on it in the slip?

Yes. We service boats in the slip at the municipal marina. Tell us your slip number and let the office know we're coming, and we handle the rest at the dock.

The lagoon is shallow and I've kicked up sand more than once. What should I be watching?

Water pump and impeller, first and always. Sand through the cooling system wears impellers fast, and an overheat offshore is a bad day. If you've plowed a flat or seen a weak telltale stream, get it checked before the next trip — it's a quick job at the dock and cheap insurance against a cooked powerhead.

I run out of Sebastian Inlet — can you keep up with the hours I'm putting on?

That's what 100-hour service is for. Inlet boats stack hours quickly, and salt plus load is the hardest duty an outboard sees. We track your service by engine hours and come to your dock when you're due, so the maintenance never depends on you finding a free Saturday to trailer somewhere.

How much does service cost?

Flat $450 labor per motor. Twin engine $900. Triple $1,350. Parts billed at cost. $250 diagnostic — applied as $95 flat for Care Plan members.
