Boating in this water

Port St. Lucie boating is mostly canal and river work — bay boats, pontoons, and center consoles kept on lifts and backyard docks along the North Fork. That brackish river water is easier on a motor than open salt, but it breeds its own problems: lifts that sit for months, fuel that goes stale, impellers that dry-rot before they wear out. The most common call we get here isn't a breakdown on the water. It's a motor that won't start after sitting all summer.

Mobile service fits this city because most PSL boats never see a marina. They're behind the house. Hauling a boat off a lift, trailering it across town, and waiting on a shop is a full day gone. We pull up to the dock, run the diagnostic where the boat lives, and most jobs are done before lunch. This is our home base — no travel math, no scheduling around a drive.

Common questions from Port St. Lucie boaters

How fast can you get to my dock in Port St. Lucie?

This is home base, so PSL gets our fastest response. Scheduled work is usually within 2–5 business days. Emergencies get same-day or next-day when possible.

My boat sits on a lift on the North Fork and won't start. Do I need to get it in the water first?

No. We work on lifts all the time — that's most of our PSL calls. Leave it where it is. If we need to run it under load, we'll tell you before the visit.

Can you meet me at a ramp like Rio Mar or River Park Marina?

Yes. Ramp meetups work fine for trailer boats. Pick the ramp, we'll set a time. Rio Mar, River Park Marina, and Riverwoods are all regular stops for us.

My boat sat all summer without running. What should I expect?

Usually stale fuel, a tired battery, or a dried-out impeller — sometimes all three. Don't crank it repeatedly. Book a service and we'll go through fuel, battery, and cooling before it becomes a bigger bill.

How much does service cost?

Flat $450 labor per motor. Twin engine $900. Triple $1,350. Parts billed at cost. $250 diagnostic — applied as $95 flat for Care Plan members.
