Who we are

JC Boats & Motors is a family-owned mobile boat repair business operating out of Port St. Lucie, Florida. This policy explains how we collect and use information from customers who use jcboatsandmotors.com.

What we collect

• Contact information you give us — name, phone, email, address — when you request a quote, book service, or become a member.
• Boat information — make, model, year, and any service history you share.
• Payment information — processed through Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
• Basic usage analytics — pages viewed and general location, used to improve the site.

How we use it

• To respond to your quote requests and schedule service.
• To send invoices, appointment reminders, and service updates.
• To keep an accurate record of work performed on your boat.
• To manage our books through QuickBooks Online (accounting only — no marketing use).

Who we share it with

We do not sell customer information. We share what's necessary with:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• QuickBooks Online (Intuit) — accounting and bookkeeping.
• Google (Firebase) — secure database hosting.
• Twilio / Resend — SMS and email reminders about your service.

How we store it

Customer records live in Google Firebase (Firestore), encrypted at rest and in transit. Only owners of the business have login access. OAuth tokens for third-party integrations are stored server-side and refreshed automatically.

Your rights

• Ask us what we have on file — we'll send it to you.
• Ask us to correct anything wrong.
• Ask us to delete your record (except invoices we're required to retain for accounting/tax purposes).
